This week libraries around the United States are celebrating the importance of the Friends of the Library.  The Putnam County District Library is thankful for the Friends of the Pandora Library and their continued support of the Pandora- Riley Township Location of the PCDL.  The Putnam County District Library is also very grateful to the Friends of the Putnam County District Library who support programs and events at all 8 library locations in the county.  Two important programs that the Friends of the Putnam County District Library support are the Summer Reading Program and the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. The Friends are always looking for new members and volunteers. They have so much fun while making our library system a better and giving back to the community.
